Ukraine's sunflowerseed crop in 2019/20 projected ever highest — USDA
Sunflowerseed production in Ukraine in 2019/20 is forecasted at 15.5 mln t, 3% higher from the 2018/19 season. Oilseed crop harvest in 2019/20 is the highest in the last three production seasons, the USDA data proves.

Experts say that sunflowerseed production should rise 2.3 mln t on larger crops in Russia and Ukraine and amount to 53.48 mln t. The global sunflowerseed meal output in 2019/20 is projected at 22.08 mln t vs. 21.16 mln t in 2018/19.
World sunflower oil production is set by the analysts at the level of 20.65 mln t.
Sunoil production in Ukraine in 2019/20 is forecasted to increase to 6.54 mln t, in Russia — at 5.63 mln t. Sunflowerseed crop in Russia is up 14% at 14.5 mln t.
In January-November 2019, Ukrainian export of sunflower reached 76.8 thou. t for the amount of USD 31.9 mln.
