Flour exports exceed 270 thou. t
Since the start of 2019/20, flour export shipment from Ukraine has reached 270.1 thou. t, 73.2 thou. t more from the prior year's comparative indicator, 196.9 thou. t.
The information and analytical portal of the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine reports that by Mar. 27 exports reached the following indicators:
- wheat flour — 268.6 thou. t (up 72.6 thou. t from the comparative period of 2018/19);
- other types of flour — 1.5 thou. t (up 0.6 thou. t).
Flour exports in the 2018/19 season reached 301.4 thou. t vs. 413 thou. t in 2017/18.
By 2025 the volume of world flour consumption may increase by about 20 mln t compared to the current level and reach apx. 400 mln t.
Since the start of 2019/20 (July 2019 – June 2020), Ukraine has supplied 44.73 mln t of staple grains to foreign markets. As of Mar. 25, agricultural commodities shipment increased by 23%.
