Ovostar Union authorized for eggs export to Israel

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel authorized the import of eggs from Ukraine, including products of the company Ovostar Union on condition that the producer meets the EU standards and is Kosher certified.

As noted by the company, Ovostar Union fully meets the required criteria and has already started supplying eggs to Israel.

"The first shipment was made in early April. A passenger aircraft 787 Dreamliner of national Israeli air carrier El Al arrived to Kyiv," the company says in a statement.

As of the end of April, Ovostar Union's exports to Israel reached 4 mln eggs.

The volume of eggs production in Ukraine in January-March 2020 reached 3.757 bln units, 0.1% lower from Q1 2019 (3.759 bln units).
