Milk production 3.6% lower in 1H 2020

In January-June 2020, milk production in Ukraine decreased by 3.6% to 4.6 mln t compared to the corresponding period in 2019, the State Statistics Service data show.

In the reporting period, agricultural enterprises reduced milk production by 0.6% YoY to 1.39 mln t (1H 2019: 1.4).

Pursuant to the statistical data, milk production in households fell by 4.9% to 3.2 mln t (1H 2019: 3.36).

In the total structure of milk production, the industrial sector accounts for 30.3%, households 69.7%.

Previously reported that Milkiland's capitalization for the period of July 9-15, 2020, increased by 11.1% to USD 4 mln.
