Agrofusion tomato area expanded by 4%

Agrofusion team has begun a new tomato paste production season, the 14th.

The company informs that in the last decade of March specialists started sowing tomato seeds at both Southern and Northern greenhouse complexes.

"This year our nurseries will grow more than 200 mln transplants," the company notes.

In the season 2021, the company's total tomato growing area is 4% higher YoY and will make up 8360 ha of conventional and 100 ha of organic tomatoes.

Transplanting in the fields is scheduled for late April.

As a reminder, in 2020, the company's total tomato area reached 8100 ha, 7% more from 2019.
