Conflict around grain export from Ukraine to Poland to be solved within 2-3 weeks: President Zelenskyy

In the course of negotiations between Ukraine and Polish officials on Wednesday, April 5, the issue of Ukrainian grain exports to the European Union, one of the most frequently complained about by Polish farmers, was resolved, announced President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the press-conference with Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki, European Pravda reports.

"We addressed the situation around Polish and Ukrainian farmers. We found a solution. There shouldn't be any issues or obstacles between such close partners and true friends as Poland and Ukraine," announced the President of Ukraine.

However, he did not elaborate on the decisions made. According to Zelenskyy, all issues in this conflict will be resolved within the next two to three weeks.

Earlier this week, the union of Polish farmers Deceived Village (Oszukana Wieś) threatened to spoil the visit of Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Capital City of Warsaw.

Michał Marek, the founder of the Research Center for Contemporary Security Environment, assumes that the union may be linked to pro-russian forces in Poland.
