Corteva to invest $15 mln in Ukraine’s agriculture once security conditions allow

Corteva Agriscience has announced its intention to invest an additional $15 million in Ukraine’s agricultural sector as soon as the security situation permits, according to a statement on the company’s website.

André Negreiros, Corteva’s Vice President for Central and Eastern Europe, made the announcement at the International Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 held in Rome, Italy.

"With this investment, we aim to modernize and expand our seed production operations and strengthen our partnerships with local farmers to meet growing demand for Ukrainian corn and oilseeds, helping them unlock new sources of income," said Negreiros.

Since 2022, Corteva has provided more than $2 million in humanitarian assistance to those affected by the war, including thousands of units of seed for farmers operating near the front lines. The company also launched a soil testing program to enable safe crop production in war-contaminated areas and helped 350 rural women access training and grants through its TalentA initiative.
