Ukrainian Railways launches new route to deliver Moldovan grain to Chornomorsk port

Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) has dispatched the first grain train from Moldova to the port of Chornomorsk, the company’s press service reported.

A shipment of 4,500 tons of grain from Moldova was delivered via the new railway route to Chornomorsk, from where it will be transported by sea to its final destination.

“This opens up new logistical opportunities, supports the stability of agricultural exports even in challenging times, and strengthens the partnership between our countries. Ukrainian ports now have an additional route for receiving foreign cargo, which will help increase transport volumes and boost international trade,” the statement said.
