Around 13,000 pigs killed in massive russian drone attack in Kharkiv region
On the night of October 3, russian forces carried out a massive drone strike on a pig farm in Kharkiv region, Eastern Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported. In total, around 20 kamikaze UAVs hit the facility, injuring one employee.
The strike caused fires in eight pigsties covering a total area of 13,600 sq. m. About 13,000 pigs were killed in the attack.
A total of 32 SES personnel and 9 units of equipment, including a pyrotechnic team and a community rescue officer, were involved in eliminating the consequences of the strike.
