Refineries in Ukraine produced 1.2 million tons of beet sugar, with Vinnytsia region in the lead

As of December 1, the 26 sugar factories that are part of the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine, Ukrsugar, have processed 8.3 million tons of sugar beets and produced 1.2 million tons of sugar.

The current sugar yield stands at 15.02% (compared to 14.11% last season), driven in part by higher beet sugar content at reception — 17.48%, which is 0.71% higher than in 2024.

In December, 22 sugar factories will continue processing sugar beets.

Among all regions, Vinnytsia remains the production leader, with 263,000 tons of sugar manufactured so far.
