Growers in Ukraine harvest over 25 million tons of corn as national average yield approaches 7 t/ha

As of 11 December, growers in Ukraine harvested 55.5 million tons of grain, representing 92% of the projected area, according to operational data from the Ministry of Economy.

Corn:

• 25.37 MMT harvested (83% of the area)
• Average yield: 6.94 t/ha

Sunflower:

• 4.82 M ha harvested (93%)
• Total output: 9.06 MMT
• Average yield: 1.88 t/ha

Soybean harvest is in its final phase:

• 2.02 M ha harvested (98%)
• Total output: 4.78 MMT
• Average yield: 2.37 t/ha

Sugar beet harvesting is nearly complete, with 99% of the area harvested, producing 10.73 million tons at an average yield of 54.4 t/ha.
