TAS Agro to acquire Kernel grain elevator in Cherkasy region

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has granted permission to TAS Agro to acquire control over the assets of Kononiv Elevator LLC (Kernel Capital), according to the regulator’s decision dated January 22, 2026.

“The company KINTAS LIMITED (Nicosia, Cyprus) has been granted permission to acquire control over the assets of Kononiv Elevator LLC through the purchase of assets in the form of an integrated property complex,” the statement said.

In a comment to Latifundist.com, TAS Agro clarified that the deal does not involve the acquisition of the legal entity Kononiv Elevator LLC, but rather the purchase of the Budyshche elevator facility owned by Kernel. The facility is located in Cherkasy region and has a storage capacity of 60,000 tons.

KINTAS LIMITED, which received the approval, is the founder and ultimate beneficial owner of TAS Agro.

Kernel Capital is the founder of Kononiv Elevator, which is part of Kernel Holding S.A.

Earlier, in an interview with Latifundist.com, TAS Agro CEO Oleg Zapletniuk said that the company plans to replace its elevator capacities with newer or route facilities.

“This is not so much about expanding elevator capacity as it is about replacing it in the areas where we operate — with newer or route facilities. There are several assets we are currently considering, but no final decisions have been made yet,” he said.
