NIBULON opens office in Romania to strengthen operations on the Danube
Ukrainian agribusiness company NIBULON is opening an office in Romania to strengthen its operations along the Danube corridor, the company’s owner and CEO Andrii Vadaturskyi said in an interview with LIGA.net.
“We started working in the European market with an office in the Netherlands. Now we are opening an office in Romania to operate on the Danube. Of course, this is impossible without risk control, so we have strengthened our Swiss office with risk management specialists,” he said.
According to Vadaturskyi, the company remains open to partnerships and new ideas. Among its plans are expanding the geography of commodity origination, including through Romania, opening new markets for Ukrainian products, and implementing investment projects.
Vadaturskyi added that NIBULON has already demined more than 7,000 hectares of agricultural land.
“On this land we are harvesting again, and its owners — more than 560 people — are receiving lease payments,” he said.
The company is also moving toward water demining, which involves clearing mine hazards from the Black Sea and river waterways.
