British equipment installation begins at Volyn-Zerno-Product seed plant

Volyn-Zerno-Product (Vilia) has received specialised equipment for its new seed plant currently under construction in Volyn region. The seed processing line will have a capacity of 12 tons per hour, according to British manufacturer PERRY.

The project features a custom-designed complex integrated into a single production line. The system includes an intake belt conveyor for the receiving pit, seed belt conveyors, bucket elevators, and a reversible flow conveyor.

The company noted that all technical solutions were adapted to the project’s requirements and focused on careful seed handling without mechanical damage. In particular, the belt conveyors are designed to minimise grain damage, while the specialised bucket elevator configuration helps prevent backflow and seed crushing.

PERRY has already completed unloading the equipment and started installation works.

In March 2026, it was reported that Volyn-Zerno-Product had begun construction of the seed plant in the Volyn region. Most of the production will be used for the company’s own needs, although the company is already cooperating with international seed producers.
