Kharkiv region dairy plant halts operations after Russian drone attack

The Bohodukhiv Dairy Plant, one of the largest dairy producers in Kharkiv region, has completely suspended operations following another Russian drone attack, the company's director, Dmytro Murashkin, said, according to local media.

Murashkin said the strike caused critical damage to the plant's production facilities. Manufacturing buildings, equipment and engineering infrastructure were heavily damaged, making it impossible to resume operations.

"This time, the damage is critical for production. At present, there is no possibility of restoring the plant's operations," Murashkin said.

According to the company, the Bohodukhiv Dairy Plant has repeatedly come under Russian drone attacks. Previous strikes damaged production workshops, warehouses and other facilities, while several employees were injured.

In May, a Russian Molniya-type drone struck one of the plant's production workshops, injuring four workers. After repairs, the company was able to partially resume production.

In July, another drone attack sparked a major fire on the plant's premises, which, according to the company, completely destroyed its main warehouse.
