In 2016-2017 MY Ukraine exported 5.35 million tons of barley

In 2016-2017 MY, Ukraine exported 5.35 million tons of barley, which is 21% more compared to the previous season (4.41 million tons). This is the highest rate for the country in the last 7 years.

In 2016-2017 MY, Saudi Arabia (42% of the total export) and Libya (18%) were the main importers of Ukrainian barley.

Let us remind that in 2017 Ukraine plans to harvest 60 million tons of grain and to export approximately 38-39 million tons.
