Ukraine exported 3 million tons of new crop grain

As of August 3, 2017, Ukraine exported 2.74 million tons of grain in 2017/2018 MY, compared with the same period last year, export increased by 160 thousand tons.

The SFS confirms the data.

At the same time, Ukraine exported 3.8 thousand tons of flour. Compared to August 2016, flour export decreased by 6.1 thousand tons.

Approximately 891 thousand tons of wheat were exported, which is 12 thousand tons less compared to the same period last year. Barley export decreased by 251 thousand tons and amounted to 991 thousand tons. 859 thousand tons of corn were exported, which is 422 thousand tons or 51% more compared to the same period in 2016.

Let us remind that throughout January-June 2017 Ukraine exported 197.01 tons of wheat flour to the total of $41.22 million.
