In Ukraine, 90% of area under winter rapeseed is planted — Sowing Online 2017/18

In Ukraine, 90% of the projected areas or 697 thousand hectares are planted under winter rapeseed.

This is evidenced by the data of the Latifundist.com project Sowing online 2017/18.

According to the latest data, winter wheat sowing is carried out on the area of 190 thousand hectares or 3% to the forecast, winter barley — 5 thousand hectares (forecast — 926 thousand hectares), winter rye — 10 thousand hectares or 6% to the forecast.

In total, agrarians prepared 6.7 million hectares or 83% of the forecast areas for winter crops sowing campaign.
