The losses at transshipment in the port terminals of Germany can be up to 0.5%

Justified losses at grain port terminals in Germany can amount up to 0.5%. This indicator is higher than the corresponding figure in Ukrainian ports.

This information was shared by the managers of the Silo P.Kruse terminal in Hamburg with the participants of the L.A.B. project.

In particular, German managers informed that at their terminal during transshipment, justified losses can also reach 0.5%. At the same time, in Ukraine this figure does not exceed 0.2%, and in some companies it is even less.

"At the UkrTransAgro terminal, such losses are no more than 0.08-0.12%," the Mariupol Investment Group reported (MIG).

It is noted that the Silo P.Kruse terminal can handle up to 1 million tons of grain per year. The capacity of the one-time storage is 80 thousand tons. The company employs 15 people on a permanent basis, 11 of whom directly work on the terminal (5 repairmen and 6 silo operators).
