110k tons of sugar produced in Vinnytsia region

Seven sugar plants of Vinnytsia region have already produced more than 110k tons of sugar.

This is reported by Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

It is noted that as of October 6, 2017, 944k tons of sugar beet were accepted for processing, and 763.5k tons were processed.

For comparison, as of the same date last year in the Vinnytsia region, 6 sugar plants were functioning. They accepted for processing 1 065.7 thousand tons of sugar beet, processed — 925.2 thousand tons, produced 140k tons of sugar.
