MHP to buy 5 plants in Europe — Kosyuk

The company Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) considers several variants of buying plants in Europe. This was stated by the owner of the company Yury Kosyuk during the press conference.

Answering the question from Latifundist.com, he said that there are several countries in the focus of a possible production acquisition.

«Poland is not the only option. There are plants in France, Germany, which we are now looking at. There are also ones in England. We are in the negotiation process now. We are looking at Europe as a whole, because Europe is Europe," he explained.

According to the businessman, the export to Europe is not a key one for the agricultural holding.

"One should not concentrate only on the EU. It is a good consumer. But we want to diversify product supplies and markets. Therefore, we are actively looking at Africa, the Middle East and Asia. It seems that concessions have already been made so that we could export not only chicken fingers to China, but also other parts of the poultry and carcass as a whole. After all, China has finally lifted restrictions on the supply of poultry imposed due to chicken flu," said the owner of the MHP.

Earlier it was reported that MHP plans to launch the second stage of the Vinnitsa poultry complex in the second quarter of 2018.
