Sunflower stocks in Ukraine amount to 6.7 million tons

As of December 1, 2017 sunflower stocks amounted to 6.74 million tons, which is 871.3 thousand tons less than the same indicator in 2016 (7.61 million tons).

The statistical data shows that the highest stocks of sunflower are at the enterprises of Dnepropetrovsk (653 thousand tons), Kirovograd (628.5 thousand tons) and Kharkov (628.5 thousand tons) regions.

It is noted that the lowest stocks of sunflower are at the enterprises of Zakarpattia (0,2 thousand tons), Lviv (19,8 thousand tons) and Volyn (19,8 thousand tons) regions.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine in January-November 2017 exported 66.89 thousand tons of sunflower seeds for the amount of USD 27.37 million.
