22 MT of potato harvested in Ukraine in 2017

In 2017, 22 million tons of potatoes were harvested in Ukraine with a productivity of 16.66 tons/ha, informs agro-smart.com.ua.

Last year, potato harvest amounted to 21.7 million tons.

In this season, production areas under potatoes increased by 1% (1.32 million hectares).

Reference: a record volume of potatoes was harvested in Europe. This year it is 18% more than the previous year and amounts to 29 million tons.
