21.4 MT of grain exported from Ukraine since the beginning of MY 2017/18

From the beginning of MY 2017/18 as of January 1, 2018 Ukraine exported 21.36 million tons of grain crops, which is 2.44 million tons less as compared with the same period last year, informs UkrAgroConsult with the reference to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS).

Export of wheat amounted to 11.2 million tons, which is 0.8 million tons less than over the same period last year, including bread wheat — 6.2 million tons (0.8 million tons less), coarse — 5 million tons (0.1 million tons less). Barley exports amounted to 3.7 million tons (0.6 million tons less), corn — 5.8 million tons (1.5 million tons less).

Reference: wheat, wheat and rye mixes (meslin) volumes, which can be exported in 2017/18 MY, were determined at the level of 16.5 million tons.
