Ukraine in December increased soybean oil production by 21%

The production of soybean oil by large and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine in December 2017 reached to 18.4 thousand tons, which is 21% more than in December 2016 (15.2 thousand tons), reports UkrAgroConsult.

In comparison with November 2017, soybean oil production increased 15% to 16 thousand tons.

"In general, since the beginning of 2017/18, soybean oil production amounted to 61.7 thousand tons, having increased almost 25% as compared to the past year, and becoming the maximum for the period from September to December," analysts note.

Reference: the volume of raw vegetable oils production in Ukraine in 2017 amounted to 6.4 million tons, which is 14% higher than in the previous year.
