Ukraine from the beginning of 2017/18 exported 2 MT of rapeseed

Ukraine over 7 months of MY 2017/18 (July-January) exported the maximum amount of rapeseed for the last four years — over 2 million tons, reports APK-Inform.

It is noted that over the same period last season 937 thousand tons of oilseeds were exported.

"The highest volume of exports was in September, when Ukraine shipped a record-breaking monthly volume of rapeseed — 700,800 tons. The potential for rapeseed exports from Ukraine in 2017/18 is 2.1 million tons, which will double the result of the previous season," the message says.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine in 2017/18 (July-January) as of January 2, exported almost 3.9 million tons of oilseeds, which is 1.3 million tons more as compared to the same period of 2016/17.
