MHP leads among soybean processors in Sep-Dec 2017/18

The leader among soybean processors in Ukraine in 2017/18 (September-December) is Katerynopolsky Elevator, a structural division of Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP). This was informed by Julia Ivanitskaya, analyst at APK-Inform, in a workshop Ukrainian soybean: organic and traditional at the exhibition Agro Spring 2018.

The company accounts for about 31% of the total Ukrainian production of soybean oil and meal/cake, which is 2% more than the corresponding indicator of 2016/17.

The biggest soybean processors in Ukraine are:

• Katerynopolsky Elevator (Myronivsky Hliboproduct) — 31% (29%);
• Globyno Processing Plant (Astarta-Kyiv) — 22% (2016/17: 33%);
• Pology Oil Extraction Plant — 16% (8%);
• Protein-Production (GREENSTONE) — 9% (6%);
• ProTechAgroTorg — 9% (13%);
• Tegra Ukraine Ltd. — 7% (7%);
• Vidrodzhennya Agrofirm — 3% (4%).
