Ukrainian corn looks down week-to-date

Prices for corn of the old crop in Ukraine have started declining which has resulted in almost 3% decline since the beginning of the week. Currently, the price amounts to USD 191 per ton CPT, Agritel reports.

On this basis, the price difference between Ukrainian and U.S. corn is about USD 45 per ton and is the highest since the beginning of the campaign.

This confirms the recovery of Ukrainian prices for corn. In addition, the export volumes are significant, since only 59% of the projected volumes were exported as of the end of March.

Reference: within March, a high volatility of prices was observed in the Ukrainian export market of fodder corn (FOB), while their increase was quite stable.
