Sunflower stocks in Ukraine decreased to 2.65 MT

As of May 1, 2018, sunflower stocks in Ukraine amounted to 2.65 million tons, which is 10.3 percent less as compared to the corresponding date last year, UkrAgroConsult informs.

1.18 mln tons (-376.8 thou. tons, or 24.1 percent less as of the same date in 2017) were stored directly at agricultural enterprises, while 1.47 mln tons (-70.7 thou. tons or 5 percent less) were stocked at storing and processing facilities.

Reference: export of oil-seed meal and cake from Ukraine in September-May of MY2017/18 amounted to 3.85 mln tons, which is the second largest volume and 5 percent below the record level of the previous MY.
