Export of strawberries from Ukraine increased twice over 6 years

The export of Ukrainian strawberries has doubled since the year 2012, UNN reports.

"Ukraine almost doubled the export of strawberries over the past six years. By the end of 2017, Ukraine exported 1.8 thou. tons of fresh strawberries and 3 thou. tons of frozen strawberries," says Natalia Mykolska, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.

Previously it was reported that the season of harvesting berries for freezing had started in Poland. The agricultural enterprises are concerned about frozen products trading prospects because of the market satiety.
