LNZ Group elevator starts working in Sumy region

In Belopolye of Sumy region, the elevator complex of the agrofirm Victoria, a branch of LNZ Group, has started operating. The capacity of the first phase of the grain storage is 44 thou. tons, Elevatorist.com reports.

The elevator of the agrofirm Victoria was constructed by the project and with the equipment of PETKUS company. In addition, the German manufacturer also provided engineering solutions for the construction of the facility.

At the moment the elevator can accept 2 crops at the same time. The total volume of acceptance is 4 thou. tons of grain per day. The transport equipment of the grain storage has a capacity of 250 tons per hour.

The total capacity of grain shipment is also 4 thou. tons per day. The elevator now ships grain to ports via railroad routes in 54 wagon cars. The enterprise has its own 1678 m long railway spur.

"Convenient logistics location, proximity to regional and state highways, own railway track — all this will allow efficient and timely shipments of the needed volume of grain," says the CEO of the agrofirm Victoria Sergei Bondarenko.

All processes of acceptance, cleaning, drying, storage and shipment of grain are fully automated. Four grain dryers have the total capacity of 4 thou. tons per day.

The elevator will work both with own grain and will carry out tilling-based operations.

Now the second phase of the granary is being constructed at the enterprise. It is planned to be put into operation in October 2018, after that the total storage capacity will be 77 thou. tons.

LNZ Group invested USD 15 million in this project.
