Sunflower oil export in H1 2018 declined 9%
In January–June 2018, Ukraine exported 2.87 million tons of sunflower oil worth of USD 2.17 billion, which is 9% less than the exported volume in the corresponding period in 2017.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFSU) informs that the key importers of sunflower oil are as follows:
- India — USD 1.03 billion (1.36 million tons);
- Iraq — USD 143 million (0.19 million tons);
- the Netherlands — USD 135.4 million (0.18 million tons).
Reference: in September–April of MY2017/18, the output of bottled sunflower oil decreased by 15% as compared to the previous year.
