Pork exports made up 1.1k tons in the first half of 2018

In January-June 2018, Ukraine exported 1.09 thou. tons of pork for the amount of USD 2.48 million, which represents 22.1% of the total exported volume of 2017.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the key importers of pork in the reporting period are as follows:

• Hong-Kong — USD 1 458 thou. (639.7 tons);
• Georgia — USD 462 thou. (202.7 tons);
• Vietnam — USD 448 thou. (196.6 tons).

Reference: in January-June, 2018, Ukraine imported 8,4 thou. tons of fresh, chilled and frozen pork (against 924 tons last year) with an aggregate value of USD 15.4 million.
