Since the start of 2018/19 Ukraine exported 2.21 mln tons of grain

Since the start of MY2018/19, as of August 1, 2018, Ukraine exported 2.21 million tons of grain, which is 230 thou. tons less y-o-y.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine informs that the export of crops from Ukraine reached the following indicators:

• wheat — 930 thou. tons (+136 thou. tons);
• barley — 592 thou. tons (–220 thou. tons);
• corn — 686 thou. tons (–150 thou. tons);
• rye — 5.9 thou. tons (+5.9 thou. tons).

Reference: as of July 30, 2018, Ukrainian agrarians continue harvesting early grain and leguminous crops, which is carried out on the area of 7.0 million hectares or 70% of the forecast.
