7 mln ha of early grains threshed in Ukraine — Harvest Online 2018

As of July 30, 2018, Ukrainian agrarians continue harvesting early grain and leguminous crops, which is carried out on the area of 7.0 million hectares or 70% of the forecast.

22.4 million tons of new crop are already harvested with the productivity of 3.22 t/ha.

The volumes of harvested crops are as follows:

  • winter wheat — 17 million tons from 4.9 million hectares (76% of the forecast) with the productivity of 3.48 t/ha;
  • spring wheat — 54.4 thou. tons from 22.7 thou. hectares (12%) with the productivity of 2.39 t/ha;
  • winter barley — 3 million tons from 850.5 thou. hectares (97%) with the productivity of 3.49 t/ha;
  • spring barley — 1.6 million tons from 792.8 thou. hectares (49%) with the productivity of 1.08 t/ha;
  • peas — 590.5 thou. tons from 342.4 thou. hectares (79%) with the productivity of 1.72 t/ha;
  • rye — 85.9 thou. tons from 35.5 thou. hectares (24%) with the productivity of 2.42 t/ha;
  • oats — 26.5 thou. tons from 14.3 thou. hectares (7.2%) with the productivity of 1.79 t/ha.

In 23 regions, winter rapeseed harvesting continues 929.8 thou. hectares of areas are threshed (95% of the forecast) and 2.4 million tons of crop are harvested with the productivity of 2.59 t/ha.

In addition, spring rapeseed harvesting started: 12.1 thou. hectares or 17.6% of the forecast are threshed so far and the harvest resulted in 20.9 thou. tons with the productivity of 1.73 t/ha.
