Vioil OFP reached the planned processing capacity of rapeseed

After major repairs at the Vinnytsia OFP (ViOil), all the elements of the production chain function at full capacity. Now the enterprise processes 2 thou. tons of rapeseed per day.

The OFP plans to process this oilseed crop until early September.

"We have no problems with raw materials supply. All our capacities are fully loaded. In September, sunflower harvesting will begin, so now many oil and fat companies have stopped for major repairs. The Vinnytsia OFP completed all the necessary technical works in early July and is ready to process rapeseed," emphasizes the Chairman of the board of the Vinnytsia OFP Dmitry Chalenko.

Most of the rapeseed oil and meal is exported by the ViOil industrial group. The main buyers of this product are the EU countries.

Earlier it was reported that Vioil increased the production of sunflower meal by 10% to 290.41 thou. tons.
