T.B. Fruit aimed at 5 thou. tons pectine production
T.B. Fruit plans to produce 5 thou. tons of pectine annually. This was informed by Andrian Artsyshevsky, Administrative Director of T.B. Fruit, in the interview for Latifundist.com.
“Today, we have enough raw materials to produce 5 thou. tons of pectine per year. This is actually about 10% of world production. It is clear that it will not be easy, we will increase capacity gradually. We make any investments step by step. That is, the launch of the first line, production, sales,” he said.
Andrian Artsyshevsky stressed that the company commissioned the first pectine production line this year.
“But I must admit that the market is rather small and closed. There are 4 or 5 companies engaged in this business in the world. Still, we are sure that our company will also be quite competitive. In fact, all other pectine producers have to buy raw materials for production, whereas we produce it ourself,” he emphasized.
In 2019-2020, T.B. Fruit plans start a construction of a third plant for processing apples and berries in the Mazovian Voivodeship (Województwo mazowieckie) in Poland with an estimated value of over USD 40 million.
