Sunflower oil production in September reached 422 thou. tons

In September 2018/19, large and medium-sized enterprises of Ukraine produced the maximum volume of sunflower oil in the reporting period — 421.9 thou. tons, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Analysts noted that the active beginning of harvesting, high yields, low end stocks of the finished product have become the key stimulating factors for processors.

The previous record of sunflower oil production was reached in the most fruitful season by that time — 2016/17 and amounted to 6.4 million tons.
