Harvest Online 2018: grains collected on 98% of the areas
By November 26, 2018, grain and leguminous crops were harvested on 14.5 mln ha or 98% of the areas. According to the Harvest Online 2018 project, 68 mln tons of grain have been threshed with a productivity of 4.7 tons/ha.
The yields are reported as follows:
- corn — 32.9 mln tons on 4.3 mln ha (94%) with a productivity of 7.64 tons/ha;
- buckwheat — 136 thou. tons on 108 thou. ha (99%) with a productivity of 1.26 tons/ha;
- millet — 78 thou. tons on 51 thou. ha (98%) with a productivity of 1.54 tons/ha;
- sunflower — 13.8 mln tons on 6 mln ha (99.8%) with a productivity of 2.28 tons/ha;
- soybean — 4.3 mln tons on 1.7 mln ha (99%) with a productivity of 2.57 tons/ha;
- sugar beet — 13.4 mln tons on 271 thou. ha (97%) with a productivity of 49.4 tons/ha.
The highest productivity of grain and leguminous crops is registered in Khmelnytsk region — 7.16 tons/ha, Cherkasy region — 7.12 tons/ha, Vinnytsia region — 7.04 tons/ha, Kyiv region — 6.76 tons/ha, Sumy region — 6.67 tons/ha, Poltava region — 6.46 tons/ha and Chernihiv region — 6.38 tons/ha.
