Sunflower stocks 15,4% higher

As of December 1, sunflower stocks in Ukraine reached 7.78 million tons which exceeds last year's indicator of 6.74 million tons by 15.4%.

UkrAgroConsult reports that 4.36 million tons (+755 thou. tons, or 21% more as of the same date in 2017) were stored directly at agricultural enterprises, while 3.42 million tons (+285.6 thou. tons or 9.1% more) were stocked at storing and processing facilities.

As of December 1, 2018, processing enterprises reduced soybean stocks by 0.8% to 1128.2 thou. tons compared to the corresponding period last year (December 1, 2017: 1.137 thou. tons). Rapeseed stocks as of the reporting date are 14.1% lower than last year and amount to 199.2 thou. tons against 232 thou. tons a year earlier.

Oil World experts estimate world oilseed production in 2018/19 at the level of 586.4 million tons, which is 21 million tons more than the previous season.
