Sunflower oil production in Sep-Nov 2018 hit a record volume

In the first three months of MY2018/19, large and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine produced a record volume of sunflower oil for this period, UkrAgroConsult reports.

Sunflower oil production reached 1.47 million tons vs 1.34 million tons in the relevant period of 2017/18.

In November 2018/19, large and medium-sized enterprises produced 517.5 thou. tons of sunflower oil, which is almost 3% lower than October production volume (533.4 thou. tons), but 8% more than in November 2017 (478.5 thou. tons).

Previously it was reported that the seaports of Ukraine in January-November 2018 provided for the transshipment of 4 993 thou. tons of vegetable oils, which is 158.2 thou. tons less than over the corresponding period in 2017.
