Kernel sunflower oil sales in Q2 FY2019 up 26%

Kernel improved sunflower oil sales in Q2 FY2019 by 26% to 371.6 thou. tons.

"Bottled sunflower oil sales amounted to 8% (29.8 thou. tons) of that volumes, up 18% y-o-y, and flat as compared to the previous quarter," the report states.

Kernel processed 941 thou. tons of sunflower seeds in Q2 FY2019, up 3% y-o-y, setting a new production record and utilizing oil extraction plants at full capacity in the reporting period.

In H1 FY2019, Kernel increased sales of sunflower oil by 8.2% to 776.56 thou. tons, while reducing processing of oilseeds by 6.5% to 1.36 million tons.

As previously reported, in H1 FY2019, Kernel increased grain shipments by 194.9% to 5.86 million tons as compared with the corresponding period of FY2018.
