The president-elect Volodymyr Zelenskiy team supports farmland market liberalization in Ukraine, Ukranews reports.

“Our position is the same as that of all normal people — the team advocates the opening of the land market,” stressed Aivaras Abromavicius, economic adviser to Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

He also noted the importance of meetings with agriproducers to discuss options of land market opening since each participant has his own vision of its functioning.

The expert believes that at the moment there is not enough public support in this matter.

Previously it was reported that the European Business Association (EBA) expected the President to fully support agrarian reforms to ensure the industry's sustainable growth.
