Egypt procured 115 thou. tons of Ukrainian wheat

The market operators inform that on August 6th the General Authority For Supply Commodities (GASC) purchased 415 thousand tons of wheat from Ukraine (115 thousand tons), Romania (60 thousand tons) and Russia (240 thousand tons) during the tender for September 5-15 delivery, AgroChart.com writes.

The procured grain volumes are as followed:

• 60 thou. tons of Ukrainian wheat from LDC at 217.27 $/mt C&F (200.17 FOB+17.1 freight);
  
• 60 thou. tons of Russian wheat from Hakan at 217.37 $/mt C&F (203.9 FOB+13.47 freight);
  
• 55 thou. tons of Ukrainian wheat from Hakan at 219.35 $/mt C&F (198.45 FOB+20.9 freight);
  
• 60 thou. tons of Romanian wheat from ADM at 219.42 $/mt C&F (204.23 FOB+15.19 freight);
  
• 60 thou. tons of Russian wheat from Solaris at 220.05 $/mt C&F (203.9 FOB+16.15 freight);
  
• 60 thou. tons of Russian wheat from Posco at 220.05 $/mt C&F (203.9 FOB+16.15 freight);
  
• 60 thou. tons of Russian wheat from Garant Logistics at 220.05 $/mt C&F (203.9 FOB+16.15 freight).
  

GASC has bought so far a total 1,485,000 MT of wheat (660 thou. tons from Romania, 530 thou. tons from Russia and 295 thou. tons from Ukraine) for supply in 2019/20 (July-June).

Previously reported that as of August 7, 2019, harvesting of early grains and legumes in Ukraine covered an area of 9.1 million hectares (91% of the forecast). Agrarians threshed 35 million tons of grain.
