Harvest Online 2019: corn crop totaling over 20 mln t

As of October 22nd, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 13.2 mln ha or 87% of the total. The crop reached 60 mln t using the average yield of 4.53 t/ha (2018: 4.16 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

• buckwheat — 86 thou. t on 64 thou. ha or 96%, 1.33 t/ha;
• millet — 151 thou. t on 81 thou. ha or 90%, 1.87 t/ha;
• corn — 20.1 mln t on 3 mln ha or 61%, 6.65 t/ha;
• soybean — 3.4 mln t on 1.5 mln ha or 92%, 2.33 t/ha;
• sunflower — 13.4 mln t on 5.5 mln ha or 94%, 2.42 t/ha;
• sugar beet — 6.2 mln t on 142 thou. ha or 64%, 43.7 t/ha.
