Harvest Online 2019: corn campaign 80 pct complete

As of November 4th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 14.2 mln ha or 93% of the total. The crop reached 67.5 mln t using the average yield of 4.75 t/ha (2018: 4.43 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 87 thou. t on 66 thou. ha or 97%, 1.32 t/ha (2018: 1.26 t/ha);
  • millet — 155 thou. t on 83 thou. ha or 93%, 1.86 t/ha (2018: 1.55 t/ha);
  • corn — 27.6 mln t on 4 mln ha or 81%, 6.86 t/ha (2018: 7.24 t/ha);
  • soybean — 3.6 mln t on 1.5 mln ha or 98%, 2.32 t/ha (2018: 2.55 t/ha);
  • sunflower — 14 mln t on 5.7 mln ha or 98%, 2.44 t/ha (2018: 2.24 t/ha);
  • sugar beet — 8 mln t on 184 thou. ha or 83%, 43.8 t/ha (2018: 48.8 t/ha).
