Harvest Online 2019: soybean campaign 98 pct complete

As of November 6th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 14.4 mln ha or 94% of the total. The crop reached 68.8 mln t using the average yield of 4.78 t/ha (2018: 4.46 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 87 thou. t on 66 thou. ha or 97%, 1.32 t/ha (2018: 1.26 t/ha);
  • millet — 158 thou. t on 85 thou. ha or 95%, 1.84 t/ha (2018: 1.55 t/ha);
  • corn — 28.8 mln t on 4.2 mln ha or 84%, 6.94 t/ha (2018: 7.28 t/ha);
  • soybean — 3.6 mln t on 1.5 mln ha or 98%, 2.32 t/ha (2018: 2.55 t/ha);
  • sunflower — 14.1 mln t on 5.7 mln ha or 98%, 2.45 t/ha (2018: 2.55 t/ha);
  • sugar beet — 8.4 mln t on 192 thou. ha or 87%, 44 t/ha (2018: 49 t/ha).
