Harvest Online 2019: sunflower and soybean harvest close to finish

As of November 11th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 14.6 mln ha or 95% of the total. The crop reached 70.2 mln t using the average yield of 4.82 t/ha (2018: 4.58 t/ha).

By the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 89 thou. t on 67 thou. ha or 99%, 1.34 t/ha (2018: 1.26 t/ha);
  • millet — 158 thou. t on 87 thou. ha or 97%, 1.83 t/ha (2018: 1.54 t/ha);
  • corn — 30.2 mln t on 4 mln ha or 87%, 7 t/ha (2018: 7.51 t/ha);
  • soybean — 3.6 mln t on 1.56 mln ha or 99%, 2.32 t/ha (2018: 2.55 t/ha);
  • sunflower — 14.3 mln t on 5.79 mln ha or 99%, 2.47 t/ha (2018: 2.25 t/ha);
  • sugar beet — 8.9 mln t on 203 thou. ha or 92%, 43.9 t/ha (2018: 49.1 t/ha).
