Harvest Online 2019: grains yield higher from the previous season

As of November 20th, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was conducted on the area of 14.9 mln ha or 98% of the total. The crop reached 73 mln t using the average yield of 4.89 t/ha (2018: 4.67 t/ha).

Under the data of the Harvest Online 2019 project, the new crop volumes are as followed:

  • buckwheat — 89 thou. t on 67 thou. ha or 99%, 1.34 t/ha (2018: 1.26 t/ha);
  • millet — 159 thou. t on 88 thou. ha or 98%, 1.82 t/ha (2018: 1.54 t/ha);
  • corn — 33 mln t on 4.7 mln ha or 94%, 7.07 t/ha (2018: 7.61 t/ha);
  • soybean — 3.7 mln t on 1.56 mln ha or 99%, 2.34 t/ha (2018: 2.57 t/ha);
  • sunflower — 14.5 mln t on 5.81 mln ha or 99%, 2.5 t/ha (2018: 2.28 t/ha);
  • sugar beet — 9.5 mln t on 214 thou. ha or 97%, 44.3 t/ha (2018: 49.3 t/ha).
