Eggs sales 20 pct higher in 11M 2019

Chicken eggs export shipment from Ukraine in January-November of the current year is 20 pct higher from the prior year's comparative period, 129 thou. t in 11M 2019 vs. 107.5 thou. t for the entire 2018, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs.

In monetary terms, eggs shipment is valued at USD 104.33 vs. USD 94.13 mln, 23% higher from the year 2018 volume.

Key importers in the reporting period are as followed:

• the U.A.E. — USD 26.75 mln (25.64%);
• Iraq — USD 13.29 mln (12.73%);
• Hong Kong — USD 11 mln (10.55%);
• other countries — USD 53.29 (51.08%).

In the year 2018, Ukrainian producers exported 7.8 thou. t of dry and 6.2 thou. t of liquid egg products to the global market, 98% and 24% higher from 2017, respectively.
